The DPCA Stud Dog List is a courtesy service to our members – the Club does not rate or grade the quality of the stud or otherwise place any value judgement on the stud or use of the stud, as long as the requirements to list are met. Agreements between owners of male and female are between those two parties exclusively – the DPCA is not responsible or liable to involvement in the enforcement or mediation of any contracts or agreements.

In fact, he has nine “excellent” evaluations in Europe and has earned the title of Champion de Beauté de Luxembourg and won the Belgian Drent club’s specialty in 2022. He is also the only Drent to earn a Certificate of Merit from the American Kennel Club.

Boots is a loyal dog who is stunning to behold and admired by friends and strangers alike. He has a sweet and loving personality and is particularly wonderful with our 10-year-old twin daughters. He is a terrific family dog and accompanies us to the park, concerts, boat outings, and more. He is a strong dog who requires regular walking/running, as would be expected with a hunting dog. Boots can be protective of the home, particularly with men, and regularly uses his “Drent bark” to let them know he’s the boss but is otherwise very quiet in terms of barking. We can’t imagine a better dog than Boots, and we’d love to share his legacy with others.
